Our Vision
The future of AI should belong
to the people using it.
We are living through the most significant shift in computing since the internet. AI is becoming the layer between you and everything digital. Who controls that layer controls everything. We believe that layer should belong to you.
Wzdom builds privacy-first, local-first computing — AI that runs on your device, answers to you, and never phones home.
The Defining Conflict
Surveillance computing vs. sovereign computing.
The existing model is straightforward. Technology companies build AI systems from your data. Every app, every device, every interaction feeds a machine building a profile of you — your habits, your preferences, your vulnerabilities, your politics. This is not a side effect. It is the product. You are the product.
The alternative is computing that runs for you. AI that lives on your device, learns your preferences without transmitting them, and answers only to you. Not a utopia — a technical choice being made right now, by companies like ours. The question is not whether this is possible. It is. The question is whether it becomes the norm before the surveillance model becomes so deeply embedded that alternatives are no longer viable.
What We Believe
Five convictions that drive everything we build.
Privacy should be the default, not a premium add-on or a settings toggle buried three menus deep. It is a fundamental condition of a dignified digital life — not a product tier, not a compliance checkbox, not something you earn by paying more.
Every AI system that touches your data should be able to answer three questions plainly: what do you collect, what do you train on, and who can see it? Opacity is a choice companies make. It is a choice made specifically because transparency would reduce their leverage over you. We choose differently.
The behavioral data your devices generate — your habits, your location, your conversations, your finances — belongs to you. Not to the platform. Not to the advertiser. Not to the government. Behavioral data is the most intimate record of a human life that has ever existed. Its ownership should be unambiguous.
Technology should make people more capable, more free, more informed. When it does the opposite — when it harvests behavior to manipulate purchase decisions and political opinions — it has failed its purpose entirely. The measure of a good technology is whether it leaves its users more autonomous, not more dependent.
AI systems that affect people's lives — hiring decisions, credit scoring, content moderation, healthcare triage — must be transparent, explainable, and aligned with human autonomy. Opacity is not a technical limitation. It is a choice made to preserve leverage. We build in the opposite direction.
Why Now
AI makes this the most important moment in computing history.
The internet made it possible to track you. AI makes it possible to predict you. The gap between what you intend and what a sufficiently trained model can infer about you is closing rapidly. Your next purchase. Your political leanings. Your health conditions. Your financial situation. All of this is increasingly derivable from patterns in data you never meant to share.
This is already happening. Not in the future.
The companies that are accumulating this data are not doing so carelessly. They understand the value of what they are building. A behavioral model trained on hundreds of millions of people, updated in real time, is one of the most powerful instruments of influence ever constructed. It is already being used to shape what you buy, what you read, and what you believe.
The window to establish user-owned AI infrastructure is now — before the surveillance model becomes so deeply embedded that alternatives become structurally impossible. Every year that passes without a credible local-first AI ecosystem is a year in which the concentrated model becomes harder to challenge. We are building in that window.
The Plan
Two products. One direction.
The first layer of sovereignty. See everything your device is already doing without your knowledge — in real time.
- Real-time network monitoring
- AI traffic analysis
- Data broker detection
- 100% on-device — nothing leaves your machine
- macOS & Windows
The full sovereign stack. An operating system built from scratch around ownership, local intelligence, and the principle that your computer should answer to you.
- AI that runs entirely on your hardware
- Local learning — preferences never transmitted
- Privacy-first architecture by default
- Ethical AI — explainable and accountable
- Enterprise fleet management
The window is now
The future you want has to be built.
Wzdom Privacy is free, available now for macOS and Windows. Real-time visibility. Real-time protection. 100% on-device.
