Using Wzdom products

By downloading or using any Wzdom product, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the software — we'd rather you not use it than use it under terms you're uncomfortable with.

These terms apply to Wzdom Privacy and any other products Wzdom, LLC releases, unless a product ships with its own separate terms.

License

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Wzdom products on devices you own or control, for personal use or internal business use.

This license does not permit: redistribution of the software or its components; modification, decompilation, or reverse engineering of the software; using the software as the basis of a competing commercial product; or sublicensing, renting, or leasing the software to third parties. Any of the above requires prior written consent from Wzdom, LLC.

Beta software

Wzdom Privacy is currently in beta. Beta software is provided for testing and feedback purposes. It may contain bugs, incomplete features, or behavior that changes between versions. We may alter or remove features at any time without notice during the beta period.

Beta software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We appreciate your patience and your bug reports — they genuinely help.

Privacy

Wzdom products are designed to operate without collecting your personal data. Our full Privacy Policy explains exactly what is and isn't collected, and why.

What you agree not to do

By using Wzdom products you agree not to:

• Use Wzdom products for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of any Wzdom product
• Bypass, disable, or circumvent any security or encryption mechanism in any Wzdom product
• Redistribute any Wzdom product, in whole or in part, as a competing commercial product
• Use Wzdom products to track, monitor, or surveil any individual without their explicit knowledge and consent
• Misrepresent your affiliation with Wzdom, LLC or imply endorsement by Wzdom, LLC

Intellectual property

All Wzdom products and associated intellectual property — including the Wzdom name, logo, codebase, threat scoring methodology, database structure, and designs — are the exclusive property of Wzdom, LLC. All rights reserved.

Threat intelligence data sourced from third parties (DuckDuckGo Tracker Radar, Disconnect.me, EFF Privacy Badger, and others) is used under their respective open-source or public-use licenses. Those organizations retain their rights to their data.

No warranty

Wzdom products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that Wzdom Privacy will detect every threat, block every tracker, or be free from errors or interruptions. No threat detection system is 100% effective, and we make no such claim. Your own judgement remains important.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wzdom, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, any Wzdom product — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Wzdom, LLC is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use of any Wzdom product after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
